Jeans

I absolutely HATE shopping for jeans! I can never find ones that fit just right they are either too tight around the waist or too short/long on the leg. They never look quite how I want them too either.

That was before I found these jeans though these are the
Topshop MOTO Joni jeans £36.00
I have them in washed black and mid stone wash

These are the most comfortable jeans ever! They are super high waisted which means that you can wear them with basically anything from crop tops and big comfy oversized jumpers. they are made of a really stretchy material so they are super comfortable and fit exactly to your shape. they are also great because they come in different width and length sizes so you can get ones that fit perfectly.

I would recommend anyone to buy these they are a bit pricey but well worth it.

What i can't live without!

There is one product that I cannot live without and I cant imagine what I would do if it didn't exist! This product being ............

         Collection Lasting perfection concealer

Yes I know that there is a huge hype about this product but honestly it is the best concealer out there at the moment. It's great for people like me who have an average sized wallet and cant waste money on big branded products this being only £4.19 is an AMAZING steal.
This product is so versatile it doesn't crease so it can be used for under eye concealer and it also has perfect coverage for blemishes and imperfections on your skin.

On days where I don't want to wear much make up I apply this on its own with some mascara and it gives me enough coverage.

The only thing that I don't like is that there isn't a great amount of choice in skin shades there are four options: f air, cool medium, warm medium and dark.
I switch between cool medium fair and warm depending on if I have a tan or not. but none are an exact match which is the only problem I find with this product.

Feeling good

Recently I haven't been pleased with how my body feels and looks!

so starting tomorrow on Monday I am going to try and improve that!
I have made a plan that will help me achieve this

1. green tea!
substitute green tea for coffee and normal tea! I'm planning on trying to drink 3 mugs a day.

2. water! drinking 8+ glasses of water a day

3. bread! unfortunately bread has become heavily involved in my diet and I plan on slowly cutting it out so I'm planning on having bread 2 - 3 times a week.

4. portion size! smaller portion sizes make such a difference and its so easy to do!

5. just eat healthy!

6.Exercise!
I recently discovered blogilates! it is such a great way to give you the confidence to workout and makes it available for anyone! there is a whole community of people who are so lovely and kind and they give you the motivation to reach your goal whatever it may be! there is a YouTube channel full of workout videos and recently added there is an app that has calendars recipes and its FREE!

I am also doing cardio exercise such as running and bike riding! to get rid of these calories!

any other tips and advice it would be very much appreciated
thankyou x

Skin Saviour

Lush
Fresh Farmacy
(£4.75 per 100g)

i have had troubled skin for quite a while now and have never found a product that i feel i can rely on. However i was in lush around a month ago and i was asking about products that can help my skin and this was the one that they recommended for me to try.

I have been washing my face with it every morning and every night since my purchase and i can see so much difference already!

This product is made to calm your skin down the natural way! unlike all of my previous products this includes all natural ingredients so i don't feel like i am adding nasty chemicals to my skin!

one thing to expect however when you buy this is that it doesn't completely clear your skin . But thats not what its for! its made to calm skin not clear it! you have to be patient when it comes to your skin and you have to care for it with natural things it deserves.

i have purchased other lush skin products for spot and shall write about them soon!

any other products i could try i would be grateful for the advice

Thankyou x

Wandering Thoughts

Today isn’t really a review or advice but just something I have been thinking about lately.

I was just looking through facebook and twitter and I see people and picture saying that girls look better without make up and I see people complaining about girls wearing too much makeup. I don’t particularly agree or like these comments. I mean I completely agree that if you feel comfortable not wearing any make up at all that’s great and you shouldn’t think twice about wearing any if you don’t want to!  But it has come to my attention that there is a slight negative attitude towards people wearing makeup.  People saying things like oh she looks fake and her face looks all cakey. But what some people obviously don’t come to realise is that the whole concept of wearing makeup is to make you feel comfortable and confident with yourself and no matter what choice or type of makeup you wear should make this different as long as you feel comfortable within yourself.

For example people with acne or acne scars like me I feel so much more comfortable with a face of makeup than how I feel when not wearing any at all. It gives me the confidence to even talk because if I went out without any on I don’t even think I could make any type of eye contact with anyone.

So the thing that we get from this is just do what you feel comfortable with and don’t judge people on if they wear a lot or no makeup at all. Do what you want to do.

'In with the old out with the new!'

I know what your thinking, in with the old out with the new what?!
but I shall explain ...

MAC Studio Fix Fluid NW13
MAC Studio finish concealer NC15

Well I have recently been very unhappy with my current foundation the Lancôme teint idole ultra 24h
(I will give more information on why in another blog post) so I have been on the market for a new foundation but after much research and hours looking around makeup counters I finally came to the conclusion that I should just get the previous foundation that I had before the Lancôme. Which was the MAC studio fix fluid.

I don't know why but we always seem to think that there is a better foundation out there than the one that we already have. so that is why I changed to the Lancôme. But as I was soon to find out the one that I already had was probably the best one for me.

But this is by far the best one I have ever had! It easily lasts all day and has just the right amount of coverage for my acne scars. It doesn't feel thick and cakey on my skin like some high coverage may do and the matte finish is good for my normal/oily skin. The foundation is in a warm tone but the concealer in in a cool this combination works well together because if concealer applied on top of the foundation it doesn't make the area applied for example a blemish even darker. Because no one wants a blemish that stands out! so the cool warm combination works very well together!

any other foundation recommendation's would be nice
thank you x

Tweezer Ban!

I have placed myself on a tweezer ban! I have urged myself to not touch a set of tweezers for at least 3 weeks! I know crazy right.
The reason for this ban Is in simple terms I hate my natural eyebrows and I know filling them in with a pencil is an efficient way of making this problem disappear. But as many people including me and you we want naturally thick nicely shaped brows!
So I have done some research prior to this and the highly recommended advice is to either apply Vaseline twice a day or apply olive oil before bed. this apparently increases the rate of growth.
so if you have always wandered if any of these methods actually genuinely work I am here to be your guinipig! I will take a before and after pic and post the either good or bad news in around 3 weeks time!

Also if you have any other tips and tricks comment below and let me know!
